About us
On a Sunday evening in earlier September 2019, the Fidget Cap did not exist. Today, people are preparing to fidget in an entirely different way as the Fidget Cap approaches its introduction into the market. However, as William Faulkner said, “The past is never dead. It's not even past,” so let us take a moment to look to the past and how the Fidget Cap came to be.
Going out on a whim, Victoria Fernandez, inspired by her passion to help people who struggle with mental health, conceived the idea while observing her own tendency to scratch her phone case. This idea soon involved into a project with brainstorming and market research, and with the help of Fintan Collins, Kiera Crosby, Sam Mcclary, and Joseph Almond, the Fidget Cap as seen on this website soon began to take shape.
With each unique person bringing different strengths to the table, product decisions were made, a target market was identified, and an incredible website and brand was created. As the day to launch the Fidget Cap into the market draws near, the good and bad moments, highs and lows, the joys and frustrating moments all are incarnated in the Fidget Cap you see today.
As time goes by Fintan Collins, an MIS major, will graduate and move on from Texas A&M; however, he likely will still be found on the basketball court. Kiera Crosby, a former collegiate basketball player, will finish her degree in Agricultural Business from Texas A&M as well and spend some time traveling the world, exploring the intricate nuances of different places and cultures. Somewhere in the world, Joseph Almond will be found doing something. Aggie Sisters in Christ, visiting friends, and traveling to Central America with her family will keep Sam Mcclary busy through her remaining time at Mays Business School, finishing her degree in Marketing. Last but certainly not least, Victoria Fernandez will continue to dive headfirst into her passion for helping people with Mental Health. Growing her YouTube Channel, I Live to Inspire Mental Health, creating incredibly creative digital designs, and collaborating and being endorsed by Google, Victoria is just getting started.
